INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
What are 10 other ways to use a pencil other than writing?
You could use the eraser of the pencil. You can use a pencil to point at someone or curl your hair or press a button that is just a little too far out of reach. You can use it to pick up a bug from your desk and let it outside. Using it as a makeshift back-scratcher can also come in handy. If you have two pencils, you can use them to play the drums or use them as chopsticks. The tip can be used to reset a wireless router. Lastly, you can put a ruler on the end and make a helicopter.
If you could choose one superhero power, what would it be and why?
If I could have one superhero power, I would pick mine to be teleportation. I would pick this superhero power, because of my constant love for traveling. If I was able to teleport that would mean I could travel at any given moment of my day. I would be able to stop what I would currently be doing and teleport to wherever I may want to go. This would save me money on plane tickets and the hassle of going through airports and the time spent on the plane rides to my destination. I could also use this superpower to save me money, gas, and time on drives to work, school, and anywhere else I am needed to be on a daily basis. Being able to teleport would also give me the opportunity to never be late to any event I would be attending. Overall, with all of these opportunities that is why I would choose my superhero power to be teleportation.
There’s no right or wrong answer, but if you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would be?
If I could be anywhere in the world right now I would choose to be in Australia. I would choose to be in Australia because of all the amazing opportunities. Also, with growing up with having the privilege of being able to travel; visiting Australia has always been on my bucket list. Some things I would love to be able to do there include: visiting the Sydney Opera House, explore the Outback, and scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef. My goal is to be able to do these things before they disappear. It has been known in the past few years that the Great Barrier Reef is slowly becoming distinct each year. Not only would I love to be in Australia right now currently. My future goal is to have the availability to study abroad there for 3 months by my junior year of college. I am lucky that Central Michigan University has an amazing study abroad program that will allow me to pursue this dream of mine.
What three words would you use to describe yourself? Why?
If I had to pick three words to best describe myself they would be: independent, organized, and selfless. When I was younger I had the privilege of being raised by an amazing father. He would always give me life lessons on how to encounter with others. Some of these lessons included how to be an independent girl and how not to rely on others. Ever since these lessons I have always been known as the student who takes charge of everything. I love being able to grasp a hold of a leadership title. For example, since I have begun my senior year I have been involved in being the student section leader for sporting events, creating the senior video, and created a game called Water Wars for the whole senior class to participate in. The second word I choose to describe myself was organized. I choose this word because like I said before about always being in charge of things forces myself to be organized. I always like to make sure everything is organized and to stay on top of things. This causes me to have less stress and be able to focus on important things. The last word I choose to describe myself was selfless. I consider myself a selfless person, because of what I was taught by my grandma. I was taught how to always put others first before yourself. I took this lesson to heart and made others my first priority. Whether, it be planning surprising parties for my friends, helping out with family, and always been there when they need it most. Overall, that is why when picking three words to describe myself I would pick: independent, organized, and selfless.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years I hope to be a successful business women, married to my husband, and have started my family with my first child. I will be planning to attend Central Michigan University to earn my bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. Therefore, after I graduate I hope to receive a job where I am able to get promotions in the future. I want to work for a company that makes work enjoyable and lets me have the availability to spend time with family. Though I said I plan to have one kid in the next ten years. I plan on being able to support and raise up to three kids. I would also love to be able to take lots of family vacations and travel often. I have high hopes in my future and cannot wait to see what I will end up accomplishing in the next ten years of my life.
What motivates you to do your best?
The thing that motivates me to do my best is the future ahead of me. In the future I know how hard I will have to work if I want to be successful in life. There are always things to be improved on and I continue to work hard to improve them. No matter what I am doing in life I am always sure to do things in the correct manner and handle every situation I am put into with a positive and mature attitude. I hope to be known as a person that is hardworking and a leader. Therefore, I always do my absolute best with anything, because anything I do can be helpful for my future.
